From cuddles and calm to craziness and chaos – welcome to Frey’s Place. Frey’s Place is more than a traditional doggie daycare. It’s an award-winning dog behavioral training and dog enrichment center. Owner Maria Ochs designed Frey’s Place out of pure love of pets and pet parents, with the hope to better the lives of puppies, dogs and their owners.
Frey’s Place in Dayton, Ohio, is a dog enrichment center designed specifically with dogs in mind. By offering dog enrichment activities that are fun, creative, and ever-changing, Frey’s Place helps dogs grow their natural abilities. Plus, the dogs have lots of fun!
Our Services
Enrichment Daycare
Frey’s Place helps dogs learn key social skills in a toy/snack-friendly environment. We incorporate all five senses, and dogs perform species-specific behaviors. Plus, they have open access to the outdoors, a perk not available at a majority of dog daycares.
Dog Behavioral Training
Socializing dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and playstyles builds confidence in the dogs. They learn how to interact better with each other and with their pet parents. Start dog behavioral training as young as possible, and you’ll have a confident dog for life.
Self-Serve Dog Wash
Clean dogs are happy, healthy dogs. Frey’s Place offers both indoor and outdoor self-serve dog washes with shampoo, driers, towels, and everything else you need. Keep your bathroom, tub, and sink clean with our self-serve dog wash stations open year-round.
Nook Indoor Enrichment
The Nook is Ohio’s first fully immersive indoor enrichment experience for dogs in the state. Featuring a puzzle box and toy/enrichment library, Frey’s Place Nook helps dogs stay psychologically healthy and active. Reserve the Nook today.
Private Dog Park
Our 6,000 sq. ft. fenced private dog park is an ideal place to spend uninterrupted time with your dog. One side caters to high-energy sighthounds and working dogs, and the other side is laid-back for dog nose work. Contact us for availability.
Indoor Pool
Frey’s Place welcomes dogs and their owners for a swim in our indoor saltwater pool. Open year-round, the pool offers opportunities for water therapy, exercise, and playtime. The time will be solely yours to spend how you like. Available by reservation only.
